Looking back, it is really ironic that I would have a passion for theatre; it was truly my mother’s doing. As a farm kid, I felt that theatre was for girls and no self-respecting farm boy would take it seriously. My parents, especially my mom, urged me to audition for the school plays. I begrudgingly did them for years until the last play of my eighth grade year when I played the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz. Up to this point, the biggest role I ever played was “man #3.” While I was flopping around on stage in that baggy costume, I realized that I was actually enjoying myself. When high school came around, I did all the shows I could and eventually declared it as a major at the University of Wisconsin River Falls.

I since have been working as an understudy and board operator at Stevie Ray's Comedy Cabaret and attending the Actor's Workout at the Guthrie.

In my spare time I draw a comic strip. Flat Lids has been my passion project since I was in high school. Click the link to check it out!
